About
I am a neurodivergent, fat positive, Health at Every Size, all-foods-fit, intuitive eating dietitian (what a mouthful!). Most importantly, I am a people person; I love really getting to know people, understanding their strengths and challenges, their passions and purpose, the way they live their lives. As someone who identifies as neurodivergent and has recovered from my own eating disorder, I am intimately aware of the bravery required to take the next step towards recovery. I am here to help support you in building the structure, tools, and self-awareness to honor your authentic self, through curiosity, a bit of discomfort, and a good dose of humor.

About
I became a Registered Dietitian because I am determined to bridge the gap between the lack of healthcare and nutrition education in underserved, minority communities. As a Latina who grew up in an area with a shortage of healthcare professionals and resources, I quickly learned about the gaps and injustices that exist in not only healthcare but also in obtaining basic living necessities. I dedicated my academic career to gaining knowledge on how to serve and give back to my community in ways that expand beyond my lived experiences.I am passionate about helping individuals build joyful, healing relationships with food and their bodies, as well as supporting people with various medical conditions that can be improved with gentle nutrition. I utilize a weight-inclusive approach to my work and practice from a Health At Every Size® (HAES®) lens. I believe that it is important to meet people where they are in order to help them move toward where they want to be.
